I have mixed feelings about this. First reaction, obviously, at the word “beer” was “Ooh, beer!”. This was followed, after a few seconds of processing, by the realization that all the things that I love about beer and I love about soap, of which there are many, would not necessarily blend well in cleansing whole. Soap is supposed to make me stop smelling like beer. This is...

To all my tall ladies: always own it. Never wear things to fit into a specific range of perceived attraction by the opposite (or the same) sex. Wear things that make you look and feel fucking awesome.

- Sit on various porches and drink beer (I’ve already gotten a pretty healthy start on this one.)
- Related: Finally manage to climb out on the balcony-like thing outside my window (and not die.)
- Go to a beach somewhere, swim during the day, walk along it at night (cliches exist for a reason.)

A shout out to my boy, J.W.
This may be an odd way to start posting again, but with all the John Waters hype going around for his new book, I realize more everyday what a truly delightful person he is. I think I first fell in love with Mr. Waters, really, when I was about nine and my grandparents were staying with me while my parents were away for the week. They rented “Serial Mom” for us all to watch, I guess...

We’d say “What a wonderful day for a tea party”. I don’t remember how that came about, but that statement sure invokes different emotions if you say it these days.
This reminds me of an elaborate system a good friend and I had for pointing out hot dudes. The spotter would ask “What time is the sausagefest?”. The other would reply “I’m not sure, what do...

Pica’s pretty good, not great.
It’s basically an abomination against god that I haven’t yet been to Taqueria Distrito Federal, though.
Taqueria Distrito Federal is all it’s cracked up to be, and by my house. You have no excuse not to go with me.

Yesterday: I’ve been working offsite for a little over a month and I realized yesterday, on my own, the the button I’ve been thinking was the mute button this whole time is actually the speaker phone button (which does nothing when I’m listening in the headset). This mean that on all those conference calls in the last month or so (2-4 a...
